why do I bother?

  1. I have given AJ a most dire threat: If any more lunches come home in his lunchbox looking more or less like the one above (except usually with fewer bites taken), then he will have to eat school lunch every day, even if the menu says Meatloaf and Brussels Sprouts.

  2. I've occasionally sent cut meat and cheese slices with a pile of crackers. It goes over better than sandwiches do. I'm experimenting with new ideas for the start of this year. Today I actually baked pizza bread sticks with pepperoni and oregano baked right in. I'll send them with red sauce for dipping. Is that creative or what?! (Just don't ask me in May what they're getting for lunch!)

  4. Your lucky....your is still on the table! At my house, the bread whole be on the floor or stuck to the walls.

    We use a lot a different kinds of crackers here, like the above poster says, with meat and cheese and pickles. Tuna on crackers is a hit as well, although occasionly I have to scrape it off my walls to. :)
